Considering that I've started painting probably way later than I should have in my status as A Person Who Likes To Do Art, I have a loooooooong way to go before I'm satisfied, both technically and otherwise...

So if there's anybody out there who paints, and who is decent at it, and has some words of advice to offer, I would be most grateful.
